However, unlike your average green tea plant, Matcha is covered and shade-grown to enhance its amino acid and antioxidant content.
Culinary Grade Matcha Green Tea is made from the young leaves, which have their stems and veins removed. From there, we use an Ancient Japanese stone grinding method to preserve all of the goodness and deliver Matcha Green Tea of the highest possible quality.

It’s also rich in amino acids and contains a whole host of proteins, lipids, minerals (potassium, magnesium, calcium, zinc, phosphorus and iron), and vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, C, E, K).
